Dave is a life member of VFW at VFW Post 3346 Issaquah / Mount Si VFW Post 3436 and is this year's recipient of the Hall of Fame award by the City of Issaquah. The VFW Buddy Poppy program provides compensation to the veterans who assemble the poppies, provides financial assistance in maintaining state and national veterans' rehabilitation and service programs and partially supports the VFW National Home For Children.
